ROSE PELARGONIUM

Irresistible Rose pelargonium is intensely fragrant and adds a distinctive spicy rose flavour to scones and clotted cream, syrupy koeksisters, sticky malva pudding, moroccan rice, nutty buckwheat salad, rose marmelade and strawberry ice-cream.
The distinctive scent is a combination of rosy Geraniol, citrusy Citronellol, minty (+)-Isomenthone and spicy (+)-Linalool. It is also astringent.
Traditional uses include aiding circulation, relieving fluid retention and assisting in combatting cellulite. It relieves menstrual irregularities owing to haemostatic properties (retards bleeding).
